Certified Long-Term Care Volunteer Ombudsman

Our amazing certified long-term care volunteer ombudsmen are resident-directed advocates. They are trained to work closely with residents of assisted living and skilled nursing facilities to resolve problems and concerns.

Volunteer activities include:

  • Educating residents and staff about resident rights.
  • Visiting with long-term care facility residents on at least a monthly basis.
  • Documentation of efforts to assist residents and subsequent outcomes.
  • Continuing education to stay current on trends and topics.
